PERFORMANCE LIVING AT BRISTOL
Performance Living at UBRFC is about encouraging our athletes to prepare for life in and after sport.
Performance Lifestyle aims to help the individual to develop skills to effectively manage all their commitments and interests on and off the field of play.
The main areas of support include educational guidance, mental health and well being, physical preparation, career development, effective communication, personal mentoring and profiling, time management skills, transition management, developing effective support networks, managing finances, nutrition advice and rehabilitation following injury.
It is recognised that a student athlete’s lifestyle has many areas that need managing effectively in order to make sure that they do not become distractions and impact upon both academic and sporting performance. The role of Performance Lifestyle Support is to help improve performance by helping our student athletes manage these distractions.
Performance Lifestyle support is delivered in a variety of forms, e.g., workshops, discussions, one to one meetings, webinars and more.
